Navigator Advisory Committee

The 2012 Navigator Advisory Committee was selected by the MHBE Board and began meeting in July to collect Maryland-specific perspectives from stakeholders that will inform policy decisions. These perspectives will help ensure the MHBE meets the needs of Maryland residents and small employers. The Navigator Advisory Committee considered a wide variety of topics through October 2012, including:

  • Regulations
  • Roles and responsibilities of navigators and insurance producers
  • Reaching culturally diverse populations
  • Training requirements and curriculum
  • Contracting and operational models
